Why therapy
It might be one of the most important steps you make.
There are times when the challenges of life can make us feel overwhelmed and isolated, and it may feel difficult to talk about how we feel to those who are closest to us.
We all go through transitions and crises and experience uncertainty and loss. How we manage these difficulties determine how well we move forwards and ultimately who we become as people.
Taking the first steps towards engaging in therapy can be daunting. Through the process of exploration, self- awareness and knowledge it is possible to grow and conquer issues that may previously have been experienced as all-consuming or overwhelming.
I am committed to making this process as safe and comfortable as possible. Psychotherapy and EMDR can both help you see your current situation in a new light, depth and clarity. They can change old and unhelpful perspectives and feelings that you might have about yourself and your life, and help you make positive changes. Engaging in therapy might be the most important step you’ll ever make.
Therapy provides a safe and non-judgmental space where any issue can be explored in confidence.
